Personal Data Processing regulations (Legislative Decree 196/2003) BAŤA, a.s. guarantees maximum confidentiality in its personal data processing, in accordance with Legislative Decree n. 196/2003. Specific security measures are adopted to prevent any loss of the data, any illegal or disallowed use or any unauthorised access. Personal data must be provided to enable evading the order. Failure to provide the data or partial or inexact data could make it impossible to proceed with the sale.Subject to the Customer’s agreement, and until said agreement is revoked, the personal data will be processed and archived for sending advertising material and commercial offers.The data are processed and archived, including with the use of electronic means, for at least twenty-four months and, in all cases, for the time required to fulfil the aforesaid sale and to fulfil the obligations as described herein, and for the time required by civil and fiscal legislation. The data could be disclosed to employees and assistants, within the limits required for evading the sale and relative requirements, in their capacity as assignees or managers, and they could be disclosed to third parties.Data transfer is optional, but refusal to transfer the data would make it impossible to access the services offered by BAŤA, a.s. and to proceed with any sort of agreement. Pursuant to art. 7 of Legislative Decree n. 196/2003, the people that the personal data refers to have the right, at any time, to learn whether their data exists or not, learn of the precise contents and where they originated from, check that they are exact and ask to supplement, update or amend them. They also have the right to request their cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or to block any data that are processed in breach of law. Moreover, for legitimate reasons, they may oppose the data being processed.Requests relative to art. 7 of Legislative Decree n. 196/2003 must be sent to the Data Processing Manager at email address: customerservice_eu@bata.com or to BAŤA, a.s. at the address given above.
